Data Architect and Consultant
Data Architect and Consultant with experience in the US Intelligence Community to support a large (ongoing) government contract related to Homeland Security. Applicant must have a minimum of a 4 year degree in Systems/Software Engineering and 5 years experience or a graduate level degree in Computer Science/Systems or Software Engineering and 7 years experience.
A current TS/SCI clearances from either DoD, CIA, DIA, FBI, NSA, NCTC, ODNI, JIEDDO, Treasury, Homeland Security or other US Intelligence, Law Enforcement or Military organization is required.
This position will be responsible for evaluating data, databases, data formats, metadata and indices currently in use by certain Homeland Security agencies.
This person will research and perform trade studies to assess and recommend changes and improvements to existing data, data access, data format and polices to improve operations, collaboration and situational awareness.
This person is likely to be embedded from time to time with government staff and must be available and willing to be located at government or contractor facilities sites for periods of approximately 2 weeks in duration.
This person will provide presentations and briefings related to their area of expertise to improve overall team domain knowledge in thier subject areas. This person must meet Homeland Security suitability requirements for support and access to to this project.
